Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a domain consultant for network security transformation. You will provide technical guidance on customers’ network security and zero trust journeys, defining solutions that protect critical business imperatives and evangelize our leadership in on‑prem, cloud, and security services.

You will collaborate with sales to architect and present solutions, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and help customers realize value through secure deployments and proven outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering in Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
• Strong knowledge of L2-L4 networking and routing protocols (OSPF/BGP) and switching architectures.
• Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with NGFW, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, DLP and BYOD solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization.
• Present to customers as an expert across organization levels from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value proposition.
• Drive technical validation projects with customers and partners to secure technical wins.
• Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customers' security postures.
• Document high-level design and use cases for Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Lead discussions on industry trends and security landscape changes.
• Align product offerings with customer requirements and differentiate them.
• Be the main technical contact for Network Security in RFIs/RFPs.
• Position services to ensure proper implementation and value realization.
• Discuss competitive offers and position ours as best-in-class.
• Demonstrate breadth and depth of specialized knowledge.
