Job summary

Presidio in Detroit, MI is seeking a Solutions Architect to join the Pre-Sales Engineering Team. You will meet with customers, capture requirements for network and security solutions, and craft comprehensive engineering proposals.

The role requires enterprise networking experience, capability to present to senior stakeholders, and familiarity with Cisco, Palo Alto, HPE, VMware, AWS, and related technologies. A strong design background and pricing experience are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of enterprise class network and security solutions experience.
CCDP/CCNP/CCIE or other certifications preferred.
Experience in a VAR environment is a plus.
Strong skills in design, implementation and support of complex routing and switching, security, and data center technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop high-level technical solutions and present to customers (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services).
Collect business and technical requirements.
Complete end-to-end, full lifecycle network designs.
Drive whiteboard conversations and customer-facing presentations.
Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Generate hardware configurations (BoM) and collaborate with internal teams to finalize them.
Write statements of work (SoW) and develop Professional Service pricing.
