Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Network Security Architect to design and implement security architecture across on-premises and cloud environments, working closely with engineering from design through rollout.

The role reports to the SA&E Director within the CISO Office and requires hands-on implementation experience with firewall platforms and cloud security. The ideal candidate will lead migrations, assess current environments, and ensure security architecture aligns with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in Information Security Architect role.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (NIST 800/CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Advanced knowledge of network technologies and access control.
• Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Designs network security architecture from the ground up (firewall policy, segmentation, Zero Trust, Azure).
• Leads end-to-end migrations: assess, design target state, implement, and cutover.
• Collaborates with engineering through build and implementation phases.
• Reviews existing architecture, identifies gaps, and designs remediation.
