Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Network Security Architect to design and build the security architecture for our environment, from firewall and segmentation to cloud networking in Azure. You will partner with engineering through implementation, not just design.

The role sits in the CISO Office, reporting to the Director of Security Architecture and Engineering, focusing on proactive security design across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in Information Security Architect role.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Experience with cloud and on-prem security architectures.

Responsibilities

• Designs network security architecture from the ground up including firewall policy and segmentation.
• Leads end-to-end migrations from assessment to cutover.
• Collaborates with engineering during build and deployment to close gaps between design and implementation.
• Reviews architecture for gaps and remediates technical debt in legacy configurations.
• Documents architecture with configuration details and diagrams.
