Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years of Information Security Architect experience.
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, etc.).
• Hands-on network tech knowledge: protocols, segmentation, access control.
• Hands-on security tech knowledge: encryption, data protection, access privileges.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
• Understanding of regex and JSON.
• Certifications such as CISSP, GIAC are a plus.
• Experience with APIs.
• Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, and Azure/GCP deployment tools.
• Experience in CSPs: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• DevSecOps experience.
• Security domains: access control, runtime defense, vulnerability management.
• Experience with security products deployment and troubleshooting within enterprise infra.
• Palo Alto certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs network security architecture from ground up including firewall policy and cloud network architecture (Azure).
• Leads end-to-end migrations: assess, design target state, configure, and manage cutover.
• Collaborates with engineering during build and cutover, adapting designs as needed.
• Reviews and remediates gaps in existing network security architecture.
• Estimates work and hours for security components within projects.
• Acts as technical expert to engineering, IT, and business partners on security questions.
• Documents architecture in conceptual and physical forms, including configurations.
• Handles RSA tickets in ServiceNow.
• Keeps current with emerging security technologies and threats.
