Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Network Security Architect to design and implement our secure network across on-premises and cloud environments, including Azure.

You will work alongside engineering to translate architecture into deployed configurations and ensure security controls are integrated from day one. You will lead end-to-end security projects, review legacy setups, document architecture, and provide guidance to engineering and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in an Information Security Architect role.
• 7+ years with regulatory compliance and information security frameworks (NIST/ISO/COBIT).
• Advanced knowledge of network technologies and access control.
• CISSP or equivalent certification.
• Experience with cloudFormation/Terraform and Azure/AWS/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Designs network security architecture from the ground up, including firewall policy and segmentation.
• Leads end-to-end migrations: assess current environment, design target state, build configuration, manage cutover.
• Collaborates with engineering during build and implementation to adapt designs in real time.
