BayOne Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Escalation Engineer to provide advanced troubleshooting for complex Federal environments, focusing on escalations, root cause analysis, and direct customer engagement in data-center networks.

The role emphasizes Juniper switching, Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies, EVPN/VXLAN, and collaboration with Engineering and Product teams. Onsite in Herndon, VA with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of networking experience required.
• 7+ years in advanced escalations.
• Proven experience with Juniper EX and QFX platforms and data-center architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve high-priority customer escalations.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, packet analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Support Juniper switching and data center technologies.
• Lead customer escalation calls, technical reviews, and onsite engagements.
• Develop workarounds, mitigations, and permanent solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product Management, and Development teams.
• Document solutions and create knowledge-base content.
• Mentor engineers and drive operational improvements.
