Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid/Senior Network Engineer to join a fast-paced, agile team supporting a large, complex program. The role involves maintaining network documentation, providing enterprise LAN/WAN support, and executing vulnerability scanning per System Security Plans.

You will design and install capabilities while managing technical data such as rack elevations and installation instructions. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, 8+ years experience, 5+ years

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; 8+ years of related experience
5+ years of in-depth experience with Cisco Systems hardware/software
5+ years of in-depth experience with Palo Alto Systems hardware/software
Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls troubleshooting
Deep understanding of IP subnetting, VLANs and OSI layers
Experience with multiple vendor networking products (switches, routers, firewalls)
Strong knowledge of copper and fiber media and connectors (RJ11, RJ45, LC, SC, ST)
Ability to respond to operational issues while on-call
Some travel will be required
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

Maintain network documentation for incident resolution
Provide enterprise network support with LAN/WAN architecture
Manage IAVA processing and system security scanning per SSPL
Propose, design, test, and install new capabilities
Oversee development and maintenance of technical data (rack elevations, installation instructions)
