Job summary

Impact Networking, a national managed services provider, is seeking a TOC Senior Network Engineer to join the MIT organization under Service Operations. You will handle customer support for network issues, triage and troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with vendors to restore services.

The role requires hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and DNS, plus strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production support for enterprise or MSP environments.
• Strong operational support experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP4, OSPF, ISIS) and Layer 2 switching.
• Experience with load balancing, DNS, firewalls, switches.
• Experience with ITIL and Service Management.
• Familiarity with incident, change, and request management systems.
• Excellent communication and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer support and technical expertise for Impact Networking customer environments.
• Manage network incidents through restoration, resolution, and closure, coordinating with customers and vendors.
• Monitor and troubleshoot core infrastructure; verify alarms and coordinate resolutions.
• Perform network configuration changes and root cause analyses.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
