Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the MIT organization under Service Operations. The role focuses on customer support for network incidents and changes, with responsibilities spanning triage, troubleshooting, and collaboration with vendors.

You will monitor core networks, perform configuration changes, and contribute to documentation while maintaining high service levels and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production support for an enterprise or MSP environment
• Solid operational support experience and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with enterprise network and firewall platforms (Cisco/FortiGate/SonicWall/Palo Alto) and ITIL services

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class network support for customer environments
• Manage network incidents through to restoration, resolution, and closure
• Monitor and troubleshoot client networks; triage and coordinate with vendors
• Review alarms, logs, and performance reports to identify and prevent issues
• Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation
