Job summary

Impact Networking is seeking a TOC Systems Engineer to join the Managed IT team. You will support customer systems infrastructure and desktops, collaborating with end users, internal teams, and vendors to restore service across servers, workstations, and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes developing multi-technology expertise while delivering exceptional client support. Candidates should have 2+ years in IT operations and possess strong communication along with ongoing certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support, help desk, systems administration, or technical operations; MSP experience preferred.
• Foundational operational support experience and troubleshooting skills are expected.
• Knowledge of virtualization, server administration, cloud technologies, endpoint support, and networking concepts.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, VMware/ESXi, Active Directory, DNS, routing; Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions; familiarity with monitoring and remote management tools.
• ITIL familiarity and experience with HaloPSA or similar platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide world‑class customer support and technical assistance for Impact Networking environments.
• Handle server, workstation, application, backup, monitoring, and cloud incidents and service requests.
• Monitor infrastructure and verify alerts, following documented troubleshooting procedures.
• Documentation of work and timely updates to users and tickets in HaloPSA.
• Communicate with customers, internal teams, and vendors professionally and clearly.
• Assist with review of requests and elevation of advanced engineering concerns.
• Perform system configuration changes and routine administration tasks.
• Maintain current technical skills and certifications.
