Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC in the United States is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the MIT organization under Service Operations. You will support customer networks, monitor incidents, triage, and coordinate with vendors to restore services across multiple client environments.

The role demands hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), layer 2 switching, firewalls, DNS, and ITIL processes, plus strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a production support role for an enterprise or MSP environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and operational support experience.
• Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP4, OSPF, ISIS) and switching concepts.
• Experience with load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer support for Impact Networking client environments.
• Manage network incidents through restoration, resolution and closure; engage customers, internal teams, and vendors.
• Monitor and verify alarms; perform root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Perform network configuration changes and document procedures and diagrams.
