Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our elite team supporting mission‑critical national security programs. In this role, you will work at the forefront of cybersecurity, network engineering, and advanced analytics to help defend and enable some of the nation’s most vital operations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead advanced network troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Analyze and optimize network performance, latency, and throughput
- Design and implement scalable, secure network architectures
- Work with technologies such as:
- Routing protocols & BGP
- Policy‑based routing & traffic shaping
- IPSec tunneling & NAT
- Firewalls, load balancing, and WAN optimization
- Evaluate and integrate emerging networking technologies
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver mission‑driven solutions
- Mentor junior engineers (Levels 0‑2) and ensure engineering excellence
What You Bring
- 12‑15 years of network engineering experience (or equivalent expertise)
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
- Strong experience in network design, optimization, and security
- CCNA and CCNP certifications required
- Proven ability to lead technical efforts and mentor teams
Security Clearance Requirement
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required)
