Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) seeks a Network Engineer to lead design and integration for USAREUR‑AF missions in Wiesbaden. You’ll set technical direction, produce design docs, and coordinate with government and partners to enable secure data networks across multi‑enclave environments.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, DoD TS clearance, and CCNA/8570‑IAT II or higher, with strong routing/switching, security, and VMware skills within a complex enterprise network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related network engineering experience.
• Experience designing and implementing routed networks in multi‑enclave, multi‑vendor environments.
• Leadership of network design from requirements through implementation, including docs and reviews.
• DoD Top Secret clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for network engineering across the mission portfolio.
• Lead design reviews, set design direction, and review others' work.
• Develop plans and configurations for data networks, including SD‑WAN deployments.
• Produce design documentation and integration plans for accreditation and delivery.
• Coordinate with mission partners and regional engineering organizations.
