Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to transform technology into opportunity. You will design and support voice, video, RF, and data networks across DoW IT architecture, with a focus on reliability and security.

This role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph and a strong background in enterprise network engineering. Join a team delivering LAN/WAN, site-to-site, and VPN solutions while mentoring others and driving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field applicable to this work.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) by security indoctrination date with CE for certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop voice, video, RF, and/or data communications networks.
• Engineer, design, and implement LANs/WANs; VPNs; site-to-site connections; manage servers/storage/backup; troubleshoot network issues.
• Develop plans for integrating network systems including timeline, costing, and resources.
• Create network topologies and engineering documentation from requirements to implementation and maintenance.
• Perform network studies for bandwidth, security, and reliability.
