Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support enterprise networks on customer sites in the United States. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, and Tier II O&M for LAN/WAN, Cisco/Juniper gear, and cybersecurity policy development.

Minimum 5+ years of related experience; BA/BS preferred and CCNA preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain Secret clearance with potential to pursue TS/SCI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related network engineering experience.
• BA/BS preferred; CCNA preferred.
• Secret to start, must be able to obtain TS/SCI.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of complex network support across LAN, WAN, OS, IOS and related tech.
• Provide post-design installation, configuration, and Tier II O&M support for enterprise and field systems.
• Design network redundancy for backup connectivity.
• Troubleshoot complex network problems and assess impact on client satisfaction.
• Manage IP address space, DNS, and domain structure.
• Develop and communicate network security policies and guidance.
