Job summary

DNI (Delaware Nation Industries) seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support complex enterprise networks for WPAFB. You will handle network design, security, and administration tasks, aligning with DISA STIGS and customer specs.

Required 3+ years in network environments, a CS-related degree with 5 years’ experience (or 3-year substitution), DoD IAT-I certs, and a Secret clearance with TS readiness. Excellent coordination and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in network systems processes or AF-equivalent.
• Bachelor’s in CS or related; 5 years networking; 3-year substitution allowed.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Visio.
• DoD 8140.30 IAT-I certs: CAP, GISF, GSLC or Security+.
• Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrated networks per DISA STIGS and specs.
• Support planning and performance of network research and systems design.
• Ensure WPAFB networks are operational, secure, and maintained.
• Provide day-to-day app admin and CM for WPAFB monitoring tools (ISE, TACACS, Catalyst Center).
• Monitor and maintain LAN/MAN/WAN networks and update ServiceNow tickets.
• Provide monitoring, configuration control, and second-level maintenance.
