Job summary
General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Network Engineer to design technical solutions and lead security-focused infrastructure projects at the Herndon site. You will interpret requirements, allocate tasks to tech components, and drive implementation with best-practice security and cost awareness.
The role requires deep expertise in LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and documentation, with a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
Qualifications
- Experience deploying voice, video across port-based firewall and NGFW.
- Experience in engineering and deploying multi-firewall solutions.
- Experience design and deployment of firewall interfaces and plans.
- 10+ years configuring Cisco ASA/NGFW and LAN/WAN devices.
Responsibilities
- Define, maintain, and upgrade the security posture of the networks.
- Perform security audits and implement changes to improve security posture.
- Manage and allocate network installation and engineering tasks across LAN/WAN devices and firewall systems.
- Create build-to and as-built documentation and test plans for IT equipment.
