Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Network Deploy Technician to support design, delivery, and operation of our global infrastructure. You will help scale networks, assist capacity management, and contribute to network automation across AWS data centers.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, migration, installation of new equipment, and close collaboration with internal and external teams to ensure reliable cloud access.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage work and priorities through ticketing systems and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles and facilitate smooth project execution.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specify power and cooling requirements and ensure hardware racking/stacking for new equipment.
• Participate in migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Support several data center locations and provide day‑to‑day assistance with capacity management.
• Work closely with internal customers and external vendors to enable efficient project delivery.
• Establish and follow best practices, refine operational procedures, and contribute to network automation and scaling initiatives.
