Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician III to support our growing global network. In this role you will work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment, contributing to the stability and scalability of AWS networks across data centers in the region.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on project delivery, perform hardware installation, troubleshooting, and capacity management, and help implement best practices for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
