Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations team. You will scale support across data center locations, assist in capacity management, and collaborate with internal customers and vendors to drive project execution.

You will leverage experience with large-scale networks, hardware deployment, and troubleshooting to maintain reliable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying power and cooling requirements and ensuring hardware racking/stacking for new equipment.
• Participating in migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
