Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our Infrastructure Operations team.

The role focuses on scaling support for multiple data center locations, assisting with capacity management, and helping automate and scale networks in a fast-paced environment. You will work with internal customers and vendors under Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers to ensure reliable, scalable network deployment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
