Job summary

AWS is hiring a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations team. You will support data centers with scalable networks, assist capacity planning, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to drive project execution.

You will work with experienced engineers across software, hardware, and network domains to refine procedures, implement best practices, and deliver high-availability network support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
