Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations team. You will work with minimal supervision to drive stability and scale of our next generation networks and help automate operations.

The role covers data center site support, capacity management, and collaboration with internal customers and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery under Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
