Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our growing infrastructure operations team. You will work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment to drive the stability and scalability of our networks and assist in automating and scaling network deployment.

You will support multiple data centers, collaborate with internal customers and external vendors, and help establish best practices for operational procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience in computer networking and Linux.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
