Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations team. You will help scale and maintain our enterprise networks across data centers and support automation to improve reliability and cost efficiency.

This role requires at least 1 year of networking, Linux, and hardware troubleshooting experience, the ability to travel regionally, and comfort working in 24/7 environments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
