Job summary

Epicor Software Corporation seeks a Principal Product Developer to lead hands-on technical work across modern .NET technologies and legacy Pick/UniBasic environments. This role combines coding with architectural guidance, mentoring developers, and shaping stronger engineering practices.

You will collaborate across product development, QA, and cross-functional teams to ensure robust changes, testing, and releases.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive software development experience, including Windows Forms expertise.
3+ years of VB.NET development across web and/or Windows Forms.
4+ years of experience with software solutions in the distribution industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
Experience with software testing methodologies and defect resolution.
Proven ability to lead technical work and drive teams toward deadlines.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain software systems and applications.
Provide technical leadership on complex development initiatives and projects.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure change, testing, and release requirements are met.
Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to other developers.
Promote consistent engineering standards and best practices.
