Job summary

EY is seeking a Lead Negotiator, Associate Director for East and Central locations in the United States. The role focuses on leading holistic negotiation strategies for EY’s largest, most complex deals, aligning EY and client teams toward value-based outcomes and ensuring deal integrity.

This senior position requires strong business acumen, leadership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to adapt to varied client environments, including leading training on negotiation best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ negotiation and contract drafting experience in commercial/technical terms.
• Experience as a “first chair” in large, complex deals.
• Ability to lead cross-functional deal teams and pursue client objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the actual negotiation process as a primary chair with client and EY teams.
• Collaborate with EY sales leaders on relationship mapping and tiering.
• Provide strategies to secure client commitment to a close plan.
• Document and finalize contract terms with client in a binding agreement.
• Advise pursuit teams on commercial models and winning strategies.
• Supervise and activate negotiation strategies across EY regions.
