This role demands deep deal experience, strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to train others in negotiation best practices across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ negotiation and contract drafting experience in commercial and legal terms.
• Approximately 7+ years of first chair negotiation experience in consulting/tech services.
• Experience in a large, complex global organization with leading practices.
• MBA or master’s degree (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the actual negotiation process as the first chair with client leads to close deals.
• Collaborate on relationship mapping and tiering to align EY teams with client leaders.
• Provide advice on commercial models and craft contract language.
• Drive activation and implementation of negotiation strategies regionally.
• Mentor pursuit teams and cascade EY’s negotiation methodology.
