Job summary

EY is seeking a Lead Negotiator – Associate Director in the US to run holistic negotiation strategies on EY’s largest, most complex deals. The role requires high business acumen, leadership, and emotional intelligence to serve as a first chair on the deal with client teams, while training others in best practices.

You will collaborate with EY pursuit teams, map relationships, and guide contract language to secure mutually valuable outcomes across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of negotiation and contract drafting experience in commercial and legal terms.
• Experience as a first chair negotiation lead in a large, global services environment.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and client management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations as first chair with client counterpart to close engagements.
• Collaborate with EY sales and pursuit teams to map relationships and tier client leadership.
• Provide negotiation strategies for various commercial models and drive contract drafting.
• Train and present on negotiation best practices across regions and teams.
• Act as a key conduit between account teams and Pursuits & Commercial Excellence leadership.
