Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Lead Negotiator – Associate Director to lead the holistic negotiation strategy for EY’s largest, most complex deals, acting as the first chair with the client’s negotiation lead and coordinating EY’s deal team.

This role requires 10+ years of negotiation and contract drafting in technology services, outstanding leadership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to train others; travel is regular, and EY offers a comprehensive compensation package, medical/dental

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience of negotiation and contract drafting in technology services/consulting
• Experience as a first chair in negotiations on large complex deals
• Ability to lead and train pursuit teams and deal teams
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the actual negotiation process as first chair with client negotiation lead
• Coordinate EY deal team and client teams to close a deal
• Draft and review contracting language and terms
• Advise pursuit teams on commercial models for large deals
• Drive activation and implementation of negotiation strategies across regions
