Job summary

EY is seeking a Lead Negotiator – Associate Director to drive holistic negotiation Strategy and manage EY and client teams toward value-based outcomes. You will lead on EY’s largest, most complex deals, leveraging high business acumen and emotional intelligence to act as the first chair on deals.

Role requires thriving in unfamiliar environments, leading training classes, and coordinating with regional leaders to implement EY’s global negotiation methodologies across Priority Deals in the region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ negotiation and contract drafting experience in commercial/legal terms in technology services.
• Strong leadership skills in a large, complex, global organization.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional pursuit teams and manage time-sensitive deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiations as first chair with client leadership to close deals.
• Collaborate on relationship mapping and tiering to align EY teams with client leaders.
• Provide strategies to secure client commitment and close plans.
• Draft contracting documents and drive terms with clients.
• Advise pursuit teams on commercial models for large, complex deals.
• Lead training and EY negotiation methodology adoption regionally.
