Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee engineering and technical services for overhaul and repair of U.S. Navy surface ships.

The role is based in Everett, WA, with responsibilities spanning HM&E and aviation systems, maintenance planning, and corrosion control. A DoD Secret clearance is required to perform duties and liaison with Ship's Force is essential. You will lead teams, coordinate inspections, and develop formal work packages, ensuring compliance with NAVSEA standards

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of seven years’ experience in related engineering management field, or Associates Degree with fourteen (14) years’ experience in related engineering management field.
Active DoD security clearance required.
Five years’ supervisory experience in technical assistance, maintenance, or design for surface ships.
Two years direct experience with propulsion, electrical, and damage control systems on U.S. Naval Ships.

Responsibilities

Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and aviation systems.
Oversee inspections, examinations, analysis, repairs, and maintenance planning for naval propulsion and auxiliaries.
Coordinate with ship’s reactor department prior to inspections, testing, and production work.
Develop training packages and formal work packages for Ship's Force.
Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
