Job summary

Serco seeks an experienced Project Manager for NASO to oversee engineering services for Navy surface ships. The role is located at Pearl Harbor, HI, with leadership over HM&E and propulsion-related maintenance planning and repairs.

The ideal candidate has a DoD secret clearance, at least 7 years in related management, and strong supervisory experience, including collaboration with Ship's Force and reactor departments. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in related engineering management.
• Five years supervisory experience in maintenance or design related to surface ships.
• Active DoD security clearance required.
• Three years closely involved with surface ship maintenance, design, operation, and problems of propulsion/electrical/damage control equipment.
• Two years direct experience with propulsion, electrical, and damage control systems.
• Up to 25% travel for CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and aviation equipment and systems.
• Oversee inspections, examinations, and repairs for naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Liaison with ship’s reactor department prior to inspections, testing, and production work.
• Manage teams performing fault identification and support Ship's Force with repairs.
• Provide technical support for operation, overhaul, and repair of auxiliary machinery, electrical, and hull systems.
• Oversee CCAMM-based maintenance planning and TYCOM CIP training and reporting.
• Develop updated training packages for TYCOM and RMCs; provide on-board operator training.
• Develop FWPs and CWPs per Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual.
• Manage personnel for short-term and long-term contract efforts.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
