Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a senior cost engineering leader to oversee cost support for BBGN and related surface combatant programs within the D-PAE Combatants portfolio. You will coordinate cost estimates, LRSS submissions, and budget documentation while directing a 6–7 person team of analysts.

You will interface with Navy program offices and leadership, defend analyses, and ensure compliance with DAWIA, security clearances, and Federal employment requirements. U.S.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and suitability for federal employment is required.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Must pass E-Verify before employment.
• DoD/DAWIA certification with applicable training points required within set timeframes.
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS or remote sites may be required.
• Interdisciplinary role with engineering/science series; select the closest occupational series.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate cost support for BBGN program and other surface combatant efforts.
• Provide cost estimating support across PLCCE, budget submissions, concept estimates, cost excursions, LRSS submissions.
• Lead a team of 6-7 cost analysts/engineers supporting PMS 470; direct report to the D-PAE Combatants Cost Director.
• Serve as primary point of contact for cost-related requests, interfacing with Program Office, Ship Design Manager, and sponsor (N96).
• Brief and defend the team’s work to senior Navy and DOW leadership.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, management, and mentoring to the team.
