Job summary

BB&E is seeking a Cost Engineer to provide technical design support for NAVFAC Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves cost analysis, budgeting, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to support Navy facilities and MILCON projects.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of cost engineering expertise, a relevant ABET/NAAB-accredited degree, and knowledge of DoD/NAVFAC standards. CCP or CCE certification is desirable but not required; citizenship and security eligibility

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional cost engineering experience for new construction and renovations.
• ABET/NAAB-accredited degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or Architecture; hands-on design experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of prior work experience in design/construction; 5–10 years cost engineering experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent cost engineering support for Navy/Marine Corps facilities, including MILCON, demolition, and space utilization.
• Participate in budgeting, design, and construction for complex military projects; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Convey findings in writing and present cost analyses and recommendations to stakeholders.
