Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Senior National Account Manager in Personal Insurance to lead relationships with agents and clients across multiple states from a remote base. You will develop growth strategies, collaborate with sales teams, and stay current on product and pricing changes to meet company objectives.

The role requires 7+ years of sales/insurance experience, strong communication and relationship skills, and the ability to influence agents to promote Travelers products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years experience in sales, insurance, or financial services.
• Expert knowledge of agency diagnostics, operations and strategic support.
• Advanced ability to influence sales and agents to promote Travelers products.
• Advanced relationship management and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced communications skills.
• Advanced problem solving and decisive judgment.
• Advanced technical savvy.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage broad and complex relationships with agents, brokers and clients to produce profit and/or growth.
• Handles variety of business models, multiple states and/or countrywide programs.
• Applies organizational, technical and industry knowledge to accomplish tasks.
• Collaborates with Sales to implement new programs and identify opportunities within existing relationships.
• Develops strategic agency plans that require disciplined accountability and follow up to meet business objectives.
• Stays current on product and pricing changes.
• Articulates company position and seeks out business with appropriate agencies to meet company objectives.
• Fosters collaboration across the enterprise and seeks solutions outside business unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
