Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Principal Engineer for Medium Voltage Electrical in Prince George, Virginia. You will lead MV electrical architecture, drive design governance, and oversee validation, industrialization, and lifecycle support for MV power distribution products across programs.

You will collaborate with customers, global teams, manufacturing, and quality to ensure safety, reliability, and cost targets while guiding design from concept to production release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Power Systems concentration preferred.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the MV electrical architecture strategy across platforms.
• Translate requirements into engineering specifications and roadmaps.
• Lead system-level architecture decisions for protection, control, and metering systems.
• Define studies to ensure protection, reliability, and safety compliance.
• Guide design transfer, manufacturing readiness, and post-launch support.
