Job summary

JES Holdings in Savannah, GA is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to perform skilled building maintenance across our properties, completing unit turns, repairs, and preventative tasks to ensure residents enjoy well-maintained homes.

The role requires hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance, plus a willingness to train on HUD/LIHTC standards and to travel between properties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of multifamily/commercial/hotel maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building systems.
• REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and HVAC as part of unit turns and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for after-hours on-call when needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for supply pickups and vehicle operation.
• Assist neighboring properties and participate in regional trainings.
• Ensure health and safety concerns are communicated to the manager.
