Job summary
Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician III to join our Operations & Maintenance team in a manufacturing environment, including clean rooms. You will work in a multi-craft capacity, addressing work orders, troubleshooting, and performing preventive and emergency maintenance on facility and production equipment.
Responsibilities include following safety procedures, maintaining equipment in good repair, and supporting project and renovation work while collaborating with managers,
Qualifications
- Associates degree or trade school certification in Industrial Electrical, Industrial Mechanical, Industrial Technology, HVAC or related field.
Responsibilities
- Safely performs maintenance and repairs on building and production equipment.
- Responds to work orders and troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
- Performs preventive maintenance and participates in planned maintenance programs.
- Assists in installing, inspecting, and servicing equipment.
- Keeps parts inventory and documents maintenance actions in CMMS.
- Ensures safety guidelines, lockout/tagout, and PPE usage are followed.
- Communicates with stakeholders to support repairs and renovations.
