Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician IV to join our operations & maintenance team. This role provides advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on facility systems in a large industrial environment, including HVAC, compressors, chillers, robotics, and pumps.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and capable of diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment, while maintaining safety standards and documenting activities in CMMS.

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance experience in Industrial HVAC/Mechanical Repair or Automotive Repair.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet and operate aerial lifts.
• Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• Driver's license may be required; no sponsorship for US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveyors, and related systems.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs equipment including HVAC machinery, cooling systems, pumps, and motors.
• Perform lubrication, filter changes, alignments, and preventative maintenance actions in CMMS.
• Operate tools and diagnostic equipment to support energy efficiency and reliability.
• Respond to work orders, communicate with customers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
