Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician II in New Albany, Ohio to join our operations and maintenance team. This intermediate technician will respond to work orders, troubleshoot, and repair fixtures and systems in a critical infrastructure environment.

Working under minimal supervision, the role is multi-craft, may involve machine repairs, non-licensed maintenance, and support for licensed trades. Safety, CMMS-generated tasks, and energy-efficiency focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of HVAC/R or Facility Maintenance experience in relevant environments.
• Ability to operate aerial lifts to heights up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Performs planned maintenance on building equipment and related services for a specific area.
• Operates and maintains HVAC equipment and systems for the facility.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs heating and ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, and related systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and maintains spare parts inventory.
• Assists in installing and servicing new equipment and renovations.
