Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead accurate, timely payroll for 750+ hourly and salaried employees across multiple sites and jurisdictions. You will supervise a payroll specialist, manage ADP-based processes, and partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.

You will oversee audits, maintain payroll controls, and drive process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance at federal, state, and local levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience including multi-state operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll, HRIS, and timekeeping systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end multi-site payroll for 750+ employees across states and jurisdictions.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, OT, bonuses, route pay, and deductions.
• Review payroll batches in ADP and reconcile to General Ledger.
• Maintain payroll records and respond to payroll inquiries with stakeholders.
