True North Consultants, Inc. seeks a Payroll Manager to lead payroll for 750+ hourly and salaried staff across multiple sites and states. You will supervise a payroll specialist, ensure accurate processing, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

The role partners with HR, Finance, and Operations to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and support audits using ADP Workforce Now and related HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-state operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-state payrolls and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end multi-site payroll processing for 750+ employees across states.
• Ensure accurate wages, OT, bonuses, route pay, and deductions.
• Approve payroll batches in ADP and reflect results in GL.
• Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Prepare payroll reports for audits and compliance.
