Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Service Manager in Round Rock, TX to oversee property maintenance, repairs, and make-readies for an apartment community. The role includes supervising maintenance staff and coordinating with the Community Manager and Regional Maintenance Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have multi-family maintenance experience, HVAC/EPA certification, and strong vendor coordination skills. The position requires on-site work and a proactive, hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of multi-family experience or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 (HVAC/Freon Recovery) certification required.
• City/State certifications/permits required.
• Training in boiler repair, plumbing and mold detection/resolution required.
• CAMT preferred.
• CPO required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and schedule maintenance activities for the apartment community and staff.
• Coordinate, schedule and respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in.
• Provide safety and skills training for maintenance staff.
• Identify hazardous conditions and address liability risks.
• Order supplies and manage the maintenance budget.
• Coordinate, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units.
