Job summary

Emerge Living is seeking a Service Manager to lead the maintenance team across our multi-family communities in Texas. You will supervise repairs, coordinate preventative maintenance, and ensure move-in readiness while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires 3–5 years in apartment maintenance with supervisory experience, EPA Type I & II certifications, and a hands-on management style to mentor staff and collaborate with the Property Manager on goals and budgets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in apartment maintenance with supervisory responsibilities.
• EPA Certification Type I & II required.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Property Manager to set goals and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance team to address property and apartment repairs.
• Respond promptly to service requests with courtesy.
• Maintain move-in-ready apartments to meet leasing demand.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing maintenance staff.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize emergencies.
• Ensure quality and compliance through inspections of work performed.
• Manage inventory and budgeting for maintenance supplies.
