Job summary

TeamLogic IT Crystal Lake is seeking a highly skilled MSP Level 3 Technician to deliver advanced IT support for small and mid-sized businesses. You will manage servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security while maintaining excellent client service.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT, 2+ years at Level 3, and certifications such as Network+/Security+. This role may require on-site and remote work, occasional travel, and after-hours support to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or computer science preferred
• CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or CCNA certifications a plus
• 5+ years IT support experience, 2+ years in Level 3/senior role
• Strong Windows and Linux server knowledge, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Networking, security, monitoring tools knowledge
• RMM and ticketing systems experience (NinjaRMM, Autotask PSA, ServiceNow, Zendesk)
• Documentation tools (Hudu, IT Glue, SharePoint)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• US citizen required

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for servers, networks, and software
• Design, implement, and manage robust network solutions
• Perform server maintenance, patch management, backups, and monitoring
• Maintain strong client relationships and advise on technology solutions
• Lead IT projects including migrations, network installs, and deployments
• Create and maintain detailed client environment documentation
• Ensure regulatory compliance and cybersecurity best practices
• Respond to emergencies with after-hours and weekend support
