Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Based Medical Science Liaison to drive medical strategy in plastics and reconstructive surgery across territories including Rhode Island. You will partner with cross-functional teams, engage KOLs, and deliver educational initiatives while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree preferred (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, PA, RN).
• 3-5 years field-based MSL or plastic surgery clinical experience.
• Plastic and reconstructive surgery experience required; industry or clinical background.
• Previous management experience.

Responsibilities

• Align medical strategy with cross-functional partners across medical, clinical, marketing, regulatory, R&D teams.
• Identify and map stakeholders including KOLs, plastic surgeons, HCPs, payers and patient groups.
• Develop and execute engagement plans for plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Maintain compliant, ethical scientific engagement and separate from promotional activity.
• Track engagement metrics against benchmarks and refine strategy.
