Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a highly skilled Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineer for the Air Dominance and Strike MRB Mechanical Engineering Team. You will evaluate nonconformances on Group 5 air vehicles, generate MRB dispositions, and lead root-cause analysis to keep production safe and on schedule.

Strong CAD/FEA proficiency, knowledge of manufacturing methods, and the ability to mentor junior engineers are essential. Will travel to vendor sites as needed and must be eligible for U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in production, depot, or maintenance environments.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools and strong GD&T skills.
• Ability to perform structural and mechanical analyses including FEA.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods for mechanical hardware and fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams for propulsion, hydraulics, fuel, landing gear, and integration.
• Evaluate nonconforming hardware and determine dispositions to restore airworthiness.
• Create MRB dispositions with rework instructions and repair solutions.
• Review CAD, drawings, GD&T, and tolerance stack-ups for fit and manufacturability impacts.
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring non-conformances and production escapes.
