Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology innovator, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to own MRB dispositions for Group 5 air vehicles. You will evaluate nonconforming hardware, generate repair solutions, and mentor junior engineers in MRB discipline.

Join a fast-paced team working with Manufacturing, Quality, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain to maintain airworthiness and safety while supporting fielded systems and production lines.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years mechanical engineering experience in production, depot, or maintenance environments.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools and GD&T with tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Ability to perform structural and mechanical analysis (stress, deflection, fatigue) using hand calculations and FEA tools.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams across propulsion, hydraulics, fuel, landing gear and integration.
• Evaluate nonconforming hardware on fielded/in-production Group 5 air vehicles and disposition to restore airworthiness.
• Produce clear MRB dispositions including rework instructions and repair solutions.
• Review CAD models, drawings, GD&T, and tolerances to assess impacts on fit and manufacturability.
• Travel to vendor/production/test sites to support hardware builds.
